Tensión entre PP y Vox en Baleares: ruptura política por los Presupuestos de 2026 y el uso del castellano en la educación

Ruptura entre antiguos aliados políticos
En un giro inesperado dentro de la política balear, el Partido Popular ha perdido una votación clave en el Parlament tras el voto en contra de Vox, su hasta ahora socio estratégico. La disputa principal gira en torno a los Presupuestos de 2026 y al controvertido decreto ley de proyectos estratégicos.
La tensión, sin embargo, va más allá de lo económico. El uso del castellano en la educación ha vuelto a encender el debate, con Vox defendiendo una ley para garantizar su vehicularidad en las aulas, mientras que el PP ha manifestado su intención de bloquearla.
Acusaciones cruzadas: "Prepotencia", "obsesiones lingüísticas" y la Agenda 2030
El portavoz del PP en el Parlament, Sebastià Sagreras, ha criticado duramente a Vox, calificando su actitud de “no fiable” y acusándoles de incumplir su compromiso previo. Según Sagreras, el rechazo de Vox al decreto responde a "obsesiones lingüísticas".
Por su parte, Manuela Cañadas, portavoz de Vox en Baleares, sostiene que el PP no consensuó el decreto y que su contenido incluye referencias a la polémica Agenda 2030, motivo suficiente para votar en contra. Además, ha sido clara: “No retiraremos el proyecto de ley del castellano bajo ningún concepto”.
¿Crisis institucional o reajuste político?
Este desencuentro reabre el debate sobre la estabilidad del Govern autonómico. Aunque el PP y Vox compartieron visión en los Presupuestos de 2024 y 2025, la actual crisis podría marcar un antes y un después en su relación política.
Con los Presupuestos de 2026 a la vuelta de la esquina, y la sociedad expectante ante temas como el sistema educativo, la lengua y la planificación estratégica, Baleares se enfrenta a un momento decisivo. Las próximas semanas serán clave para saber si este distanciamiento es coyuntural o el principio del fin de una alianza.
